The "Eugen Ionescu" program enables researchers from member and observer countries of OIF and Algeria, from higher education institutions that are members of the AUF, to benefit from a 3-month research mobility in the field. one of the 25 higher education institutions in Romania.
International call for applications open from 14 September 2018 to 04 November 2018 (23h, Bucharest time, GMT + 2).
On May 23, 2007, the Government of Romania, following the commitment made at the XIth Summit of La Francophonie (Bucharest, September 2006), adopted a decree for the creation of a system of doctoral and postdoctoral scholarships, entitled " Eugen Ionescu ". This program is intended for foreign PhD students and research professors who want to do a research internship in Romanian higher education institutions, members of the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie.
The program "Eugen Ionescu" is funded by the Government of Romania, through the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The effective management of these scholarships is coordinated by the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie, whose experience in this type of program is internationally recognized.
Objectives:
Mobilities "Eugen Ionescu" are carried out within the network of member institutions of the AUF. They lead French-speaking teachers and / or researchers outside their country, allowing them to improve their skills in the universities that are members of the University Agency of La Francophonie in Romania.
These mobilities are part of disciplinary fields deemed to be priorities for the development of the country of origin and consistent with the research interests of the host institutions.
